Sanagi - Silkworm Pupae

MARUKYU has been involved in the development of SANAGI silkworm chrysalis-based baits for many years. SANAGI silkworm chrysalis is a high effective fish attractant due to its high protein content and distinctive smell. Fish are naturally attracted to high protein sources and the smell of silkworm chrysalis holds special attraction to most species.
The unique Marukyu formulae of SANAGI is highly successful for both freshwater and saltwater fishing offering exceptional attractant effect on cyprinids.
Marukyu research has developed a number of SANAGI baits in response to different fishing situations. The can be used individually or as special ingredients into a bait mix. Many of Marukyu’s baits include a balanced amount of SANAGI silkworm chrysalis.

Tanishi - Water Snail Extract

TANISHI

TANISHI water snails have become a popular part of carp fishing in Japan. The high concentration of animal proteins in water snails and their distinctive and strong smell appeals to all fish to form a natural part of their diet.
Marukyu processes water snails to produce a unique, balanced, and concentrated powder that is used directly in baits as well as in tablet and pellet form. The pellets have the same natural crunchy appeal but are highly concentrated compared to ordinary snails. In powder form TANISHI dissolves quickly in the water to attract fish into the swim.
TANISHI offers a huge edge to anglers. On lightly-stocked venues, the feeding triggers it releases draw fish away from the usual food. On pressurised venues, these triggers over-ride the caution with which fish approach potential food and because the smell and taste of the natural ingredients is complex, they will not ‘blow’ and become ineffective in the way that unsophisticated baits laced with artificial flavours can do. Nori - Seaweed Extract

NORI is a secret blend of seaweed species that is incorporated into many of our baits.
Seaweeds are marine algae that represent highly nutritious foodstuffs when they are incorporated into baits and groundbaits. They are packed with vitamins, plant sterols and trace elements, as well as Omega-3 and Omega-6 oils.
In addition, they provide a range of natural compounds with antibiotic and anti-viral protection. NORI is good for fishing and good for fish!
